Our MISSION
Children’s Health Defense West Virginia’s mission is to restore and protect the health of children by eliminating exposures to environmental toxins, holding responsible parties accountable, and establishing safeguards to prevent future harm to children’s health.
Stopping preventable injuries and illnesses, fatal and non fatal occurring in our communities as a result of toxic biological or chemical harmful exposures in our bodies, waterways, air and institutions as a result of toxic unnecessary hazardous exposures, or products being manufactured. We shall achieve our mission by:
- Providing education and outreach to West Virginia communities, families, children and veterans on the industrial and environmental health hazards of what is harming the physical and mental health of our future in the state.
- Providing parents with toolkits information to advocate for their children and themselves in their local school districts, counties, and state legislatures.
- Providing education and outreach to government entities, boards, commissions, and community related organizations on the harmful impacts of their policies on children’s health.
- Promoting “freedom of choice” policies such as informed consent, and securing and expanding the right of all West Virginians to exercise medical or philosophical exemptions regarding any government mandated medical interventions.
- Advocating for transparency and integrity of preventing harmful policies, products or practices that harm our children, families, communities and all West Virginians.

NONE of US is as STRONG as ALL of US!
